[...] Didn’t we see this before? clipped from www.glitchnyc.comIs it just me, or is there an abnormally large number of great folks in the new web communities that have sprung up in the past few years? Maybe it’s the fact that most of the people I’m working with lately are into the idea of creating or participating in something great, rather than making a boatload of money, but I’ve met more than my fair share of kick-ass people this year.I’ve been developing a Wordpress widget for Clipmarks that allows you to add clips to the side of your blog. It’s only my second wordpress plugin, so I figured it would be a bit rough around the edges and would benefit from some true beta testing. We invited the incredibly awesome Torley to be our first beta tester Thursday night, and not only did he test it out and give us great feedback, but he’s also blogged about the tool and has done the legwork of installing an updated version of the beta just a day later!today’s top clips Share and Enjoy:These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages.

[...] 11. Clipmarks: the WordPress widgetAlright, in all fairness, I haven’t used this a lot yet. But it’s a living example of software that does a straightforward, understandable thing that saves me a lot of time — surrounded by a warm human context. It’s a fool’s errand to find things you enjoy, but not be able to share them with others: this widget is my gateway between the Clipmarks community and my blog, helping me aggregate my info and my opinions on how I perceive the world. Cuts down on redundancy, raises the smiles. Big plus: Eric Skiff’s such a nice guy, and his recent, agile improvements to the widget are akin to our shared enjoyment of good things coming in small pieces — many of them! » Previous context [...]

Awww well creds and massive props to you, Eric, for letting me test! Happy to help, and whether it's specifically on Clipmarks or broader across the Internet, I'm prone to communicate. I sure hope more testers get onboard too and help give you continued feedback.

What excites me so much about seeing this in the open is the visible and inspiring improvements — not unlike strong narrative, I can't wait to see what's coming next!

All the best. =)
