Hello: I live in Queens, NYC. I saw your posting about a Codec converter in yahoo groups:
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/videoblogging/message/50969
I was wondering what was your expreience with the MediCoder? (http://www.rarewares.org/mediacoder/)
Has it worked for you? I have Adobe Premiere Pro but my Sony Camcorder is using AC3 codec for audio and Premiere Pro is not able to use that Codec due to licensing issues. My video is importing on Premeire Pro but the audio is not importing on Premeire Pro. I am looking to convert the clips into something Premiere Pro can recognize. Has that mediacoder worked for you? Kumar…

Just catching up on my backlog and I’m downloading this now. very cool to
see that it’s free software, and if it works as advertised, I’ll be a very
happy camper.
